Roller Derby in Portland THIS Weekend

The first ever face-off between two Northwest heavy hitters, the Rat City Rollergirls All-Star Travel Team and the Rose City Rollers Wheels of Justice! This bout (held in Portland, so grab your keys or head to the train station) will be amazing! Both Rose City and Rat City are heading to Regionals in October, and with any luck, we'll both make it to Nationals (we're hosting 'em, but it sure would be nice to PLAY in them too!). How exciting! You won't want to miss it!

Important details: Tickets are EXTREMELY limited (only 400 total). Doors at 5:30pm, bout starts at 6:00pm.

HA! That reminds me of something Taxi told me. One of the Rose City girls said to her "We hope you guys can still come to Portland to watch Nationals!" Not even in a snotty way. Just, "Rose is going to beat B.A.D. in the first round of Regionals and will therefor take their place at Nationals." Very matter of fact. :)

OH Derby. You guys are going to do great!

I ran in to their coach at VooDoo donuts and was wearing my BADG shirt. He gave me a free donut and talked about how you guys spanked them in that tournament. I think it is going to be a good game :)

That tournament seems like so long ago now. A lot can happen in 5 months! And now we know each others teams and players so it will be an interesting match-up.
